Tod’s latest Spring/Summer ’20 collection proved that they are the pioneers of leatherwear and classic Italian style. On the runway, simplicity reigned supreme, although unexpected pops of zebra prints and snakeskin coats contributed to the collection’s standout pieces, as well as tie-dye motifs with 3-D appliqués. In the accessories department, the collection also featured a handful of unexpected throwback pieces; from ’90s open-toed sandals, key-chain bags, and Kurt Cobain-approved eyewear. Elsewhere, Tod’s iconic pointed loafers were given a futuristic update in metallic silver patent leather.
