Miuccia Prada returned to simplicity for Prada Spring/Summer ’20 with a sophisticated collection that emphasizes “power of women over clothing, and style over fashion.” Mrs Prada recalled past decades such as the ’20s, ’70s, and ’90s featuring a melange of of geometric motifs in vibrant colour combos, featherlight ribbed knitted polos, summer velvets, and retro double-breasted blazers—alongside more embellished pieces such as beaded overcoats that could become heirlooms. Accessories were kept minimal and arrived in the form of metallic sandals, leather woven loafers, and leather bucket bags. And, to echo another ’90s mantra, less is definitely more.
