These young designers are a step closer to winning the prestigious LVMH Prize.

2,400 emerging fashion designers from around the world applied to the 13th edition of the LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers. In March, 20 young fashion houses were invited to take part in the semi-final, showcasing their work to the LVMH Prize Committee of Experts comprising of more than 80 industry veterans.
From there, nine finalists have emerged. They will be in the running to win three awards: the LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers, the Karl Lagerfeld Prize, and the most recently added Savoir-Faire Prize. The winners will each receive a one-year mentoring programme as well as prize money set at 400,000 euros for the LVMH Prize and 200,000 euros for the Karl Lagerfeld Prize and Savoir-Faire Prize.
The nine finalists are Colleen Allen (United States), De Pino by Gabriel Figueiredo (France); Institution by Galib Gassanoff (Georgia), Julie Kegels (Belgium), Lii by Zane Li (China), Petra Fagerström (Sweden), Ponte by by Harry Pontefract (United Kingdom), The Vxlley by Daniel del Valle Fernandez (Spain), and Yoshita 1967 by Anil Padia (Kenya).
