Michael Kors and Ellesse have teamed up for a celebration of 70's sportswear. The capsule collection offers a modern take on retro athleisure.
When two creative minds come together, they can work magic. That's the best way to describe Michael Kors X Ellesse's latest collaboration. They are about to release a seriously chic sportswear collection that will catch you off guard.
The activewear line is slated to hit selected stores in Malaysia on May 18th, the 24 -piece capsule collection (MY carries only 19 pieces) offers a contemporary and luxurious take on 70's sportswear, evoking a bold attitude and confidence. Track jackets and pants, vintage-style swimsuits, chunky sneakers, logo slides, and neon bucket hats are among the essential looks - perfect for the warm weather. Each piece aims to celebrate a modern take on classic styles, we must mention our top picks, the Hudson backpack and Bradshaw shoulder bag.
Throughout the collection, the Ellesse colour palette of crimson red and orange is layered with classic navy blues and clean whites, remaining true to '70s athletic fashion.
Shot on a sun-soaked Miami court, the campaign is fronted by none other than model Emily Ratajkowski and Brooklyn-based rap musician Jay Critch, as well as other musicians and models. The campaign was shot by fashion photographer Lachlan Bailey and styled by Mel Ottenberg - providing a glimpse of the Summer capsule collection.

Bringing both Ellesse's energetic vibes and Kors's glamourous design DNA to life, the capsule collection will be showcased in a series of pop-up installations all around the globe.
The collection is only available at Suria KLCC, Pavilion KL, The Gardens and Imago Mall in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. As a playful treat, the collaboration provides you with an Instagram AR filter for you to rock your version of Michael Kors x Ellesse digitally.
