Lead manicurist Jenny Longworth described the look as “dipped ink” nails—some models had their fingers dipped in a black ink from their fingertips to their knuckles. Of course, dipped ink nails are not exactly wearable off the runway unless you’re cosplaying a zombie. But let the statement manicure at Gucci inspire a more artful approach to your next nail appointment. Go for an all-black manicure. Top it with some pearls. And then don’t be afraid to pile on the costume jewelry. If the Gucci resort show taught us anything, it’s that more-is-more approach to your hands and nails is definitely in for 2018.
