Available in a full range of colourways you can find the sneaker splashed in your favourite colours, including grey, blue, white, black and yellow, white and blue, black and white, white and pink, or white and red. The Cargo Sneaker elevates the trend of oversize dressing to another level by stretching the boundaries of archetypal runners. This time, the shoe comes with an ultra-italicised version of a side sporty B logo as a way to accentuate the shoe’s insinuated momentum.

The Cargo Sneaker is a heavy-duty shoe, complete with layers of buoyant tread and topstitched technical pieces. It has 100% recycled nylon laces and heel tabs, a metallic logo-stamped lace tag, signature size marks on the toe and back, and embroidered Balenciaga logos on the back strap and tongue. The shoe also features a subtle, worn-out effect that adds to its unique charm.

Additionally, the Maison is taking the virtual world by storm with the Cargo Sneaker. The brand has launched a dedicated Snapchat lens and virtual fitting room, allowing viewers to experience visually how it is to wear the extra-large and lightweight Cargo Sneaker on one’s foot – an optical feat. The filter is now available on Snapchat and balenciaga.com from 11 January onwards.
