Motherchuckers is back with a bang, and this time they’re introducing its new line, ‘Pretty’.

In case you haven’t heard, Chucks’mas returns for its third edition to spread the festive cheer in the heart of KL.

Located in The Starhill, the highly-anticipated pop-up is guaranteed to be a saviour for your Christmas shopping needs from 1 to 10 December 2023. From perusing the Chuck’smas Market to travelling to Mount Chuck’smas, this time, they’re hitting the streets with a New York-inspired ambience for the holidays.

This season, Motherchuckers brings the Christmas spirit with the launch of their 25th Chuck’smas St. holiday collection. Adopting the brand’s essence, this new drop includes essential silhouettes such as oversized tees, muscle tank tops, jumpers, velour co-ord sets and joggers with street art elements on display.

If you thought Motherchuckers couldn’t get any better, think again! They’re introducing a new line called “Pretty”.

Introducing Pretty Motherchuckers:

Relaxed, sophisticated, yet edgy, Pretty is destined for any day-to-night affair and checks all the right points with its elevated basics. The first drop boasts nine silhouettes featuring cropped baby tees, skirts, flared pants and tanks in three easy-going hues in black, red and white.

Think of it as a 24-hour journey with Motherchuckers. Flaunt your iconic Motherchuckers velour set by day and throw on Pretty’s baby tee and A-line skirt combo by night. What sets this line apart is how seamless it can be to mix-and-match with pieces you already own in your wardrobe. The goal here is to make it your own but with an elegant route. Throw on a blazer over the cropped baby tee or flaunt the tanks with high-rise flared jeans – the world is your oyster.

Featuring Ashley Lau, the campaign showcases the signature silhouettes and first drop of Pretty with quirky Christmas elements that embrace the holiday spirit.

When we spoke to co-founder Jason Pang on Pretty, he shared his thoughts with us ahead of the grand opening of Chuck’smas.

“Pretty is our way of targeting the seasonal staples on the fashion calendar. We wanted to create a new persona, hence why Pretty Motherchuckers is born. It’s more about finding what the pretty girl stands for. What does she wear? Where does she go? What are her hobbies? Additionally, throughout the process, we wanted to create a collection that embraces the confident and charismatic persona that lives within you.”

“At the end of the day, Pretty still represents the Chuck’s and Motherchuckers realm with an elevated touch. Our new line is our way of saying that it’s that simple to grab the perfect sophisticated look for your upcoming soirees without overthinking it.”

When we caught up with Mandy, we asked for her thoughts on the inspiration behind Pretty’s branding.

“We experimented with different designs and ultimately chose to feature the intertwined letter ‘P’ in our logo. The intertwining shapes around it create a mysterious and secretive vibe. Some people see a cat or a butterfly stamp in the logo, but our goal is to have our ideal ‘Pretty’ girls wear our brand in a way that makes others curious about it. We want our customers to be asked who they’re wearing rather than overtly displaying our brand.” Mandy shares.
