Prada Tropico Takes Over Pavilion KL Just In Time for Summer

Prada Tropico redefines the language of pop.

Prada’s latest pop-up has brought the tropics to Malaysia. Stroll by the storefront windows and you can almost feel the pleasingly sticky air and hear the ocean waves crashing on the sandy beach. Cold weather? Nope, we don’t know her, and neither does Prada Tropico.

The series is designed in the style of a modern and colourful tropical forest, with bold colours and geometric lines. The full collection includes both men’s and women’s clothing, comprising silk blouses, skirts, distinctive terry-effect knitwear, and casual men’s shirts and shorts to name a few. But it’s the bucket hat that has us most excited! Available in raffia, nylon, and cotton striped terry cloth, the bucket hats dominate the collection with their bright colours and prints. In addition, the pop-up showcases the house’s new and extremely popular Prada triangle bag in a variety of hues and fabric finishes.
