Mark your calendars and get ready for the Valentino Act Collection livestream on the 1st of March at 9pm Malaysian time. The digital fashion show takes place at the historical Piccolo Teatro di Milano – Teatro d’Europa that was founded in 1947 by Paolo Grassi and Giorgio Strehler. With closures of theatres in Italy due to the pandemic, Valentino and Pierpoalo Piccioli’s decision to hold the show at the prominent theatre is an act of love and homage to the city of Milan.

The show’s chosen venue is no mere coincidence. In line with Pierpaolo Piccioli’s vision of inclusivity, Piccolo Teatro di Milano is a fitting choice. Since its founding, the theatre was renowned “as a space that valued freedom of artistic expression and welcomed international performances, while remaining true to its roots and traditions. Its philosophy was to be an ‘Arts Theater for Everyone’ with a social, inclusive and identity purpose, and it continues to stage valuable shows at reasonable prices, attracting a broad and varied audience to its productions.”
