The Biebs is back in fashion. Yes, the singer-songwriter and global pop star has been causing quite a buzz recently with his appearance in a luxury fashion campaign.

If you missed it, the said campaign is by none other than Balenciaga. After wiping its entire Instagram page earlier this month, the French label returns to the social media platform to debut Fall 2021, and featured alongside an eclectic club of people that have individually modelled for multiple Balenciaga runway shows is the Grammy-award winner.

In the image shot by artist and photographer Katy Grannan, Justin wears an oversized hooded bomber jacket, black sweatpants, and holds a new take of the famed ‘City’ bag in his right hand. On his feet is the Runner – a new addition to the brand’s sneaker family – in the grey, red and white colourway with rows of punched holes that circle its opening, a superficial extension of its shoelace hole rows. Sections of mesh, nylon, and injection-moulded polyurethane were intentionally made to look pre-worn and pieced together. Balenciaga logos are stamped and embroidered on multiple areas in multiple sizes, and a new Runner logo is printed atop a mesh-textured surface, giving the font an off-kilter appearance.

Coach

Another musical powerhouse spotted for Fall 2021 is Jennifer Lopez for Coach, an anticipated choice having been the face of the brand since 2019. The campaign, photographed by Renell Medrano, spotlights the moments of unexpected joy that are only possible when friends and communities come together.

“When you’re with friends, possibilities are endless,” said Jennifer. “When I’m with my friends, we don’t always know what will happen next. We’re just hanging out and taking it as it comes. Just knowing that people are out there and they’re doing things, it’s encouraging—it’s optimistic, and it’s spontaneous.”

Jennifer is seen holding the house’s new Soft Tabby while wearing a printed wool sweater and a logo-emblazoned bucket hat.

“The Fall collection is inspired by our present and our future––by what we’ve learned and where we are going,” says Stuart Vevers, Creative Director of Coach. “It’s a story about friendship and the way our loved ones inspire, support and shape us, and the excitement we feel about spending time together again. Comforting, nostalgic and tactile, it celebrates the sense of possibility and joy found in connection,” he adds.
