SEE LV Exhibition In Sydney Welcomes A New Chapter In History

Louis Vuitton’s SEE LV exhibition featured an immersive journey covering 160 years of the Maison’s history in Sydney.

Through a contemporary lens, SEE LV finally graced the shores of First Fleet Park in Sydney, Australia. The vibrant, coastal metropolis is home to iconic attractions, a beautiful harbour, and a buzzing cultural scene, setting a perfect scene for the exhibition.

Curated by the French Maison, Louis Vuitton, the grand spectacle has become one of the most anticipated fashion exhibitions in the world. Emphasising history, the exhibition covered 160 years of the brand’s heritage and creations.

Through an interactive digital experience, the showcase was notable for its stunning display of their early 20th-century trunks, emblematic Monogram designs, artistic collaborations, and iconic leather creations. Fans of Louis Vuitton took this as an invaluable opportunity to see how the brand’s iconic designs have continued to inspire countless generations through time and archival objects from the Maison’s heritage collection.

Made up of “five universes” – in the form of display rooms – the SEE LV pulled together an extraordinary collection of their revolutionary creations from ready-to-wear pieces to 19th-century archival gowns. They even showcased the historical and impactful legacy left by past designers including Virgil Abloh, Nicolas Ghesquière and Kim Jones.

The French Maison also paraded a wall dedicated to the brand’s most iconic bags from the Steamer to the Speedy, Noé and Twist, which were complemented by images of their celebrity friends, including Miranda Kerr, Jennifer Connelly, Kendall Jenner and Hugh Jackman. Along with that, they also showcased the historical 1906 trunk that illustrated the Louis Vuitton’s longstanding relationship with fashion and their iconic trunk.
