Embarking on an immersive journey from the birth of Swarovski in 19th-century Vienna to 21st-century Milan and beyond, the exhibit explores seven key themes. Firstly, we have the Time Chamber, roaming through a chronology of the brand, followed by the Jewellery Box, a specially curated kaleidoscope of Swarovski’s statement bijoux.

The third theme highlights the house’s first lab-grown diamond collection with Diamonds Of The Future along with Masters of Light, its inimitable capturing of light through crystal. The jeweller’s unique collaborations with music and cinema are touched on with Pop Icons. Future History delves into fashion with 20 visual dialogues throughout the Palazzo Citterio, accompanying outfits by some of the most celebrated designers.

Newly introduced at the Milanese iteration of the show, Mathemagical brings a chamber devoted to Swarovski’s inimitable savoir-faire in crystal making and jewellery artisanship. The space also boasts jewellery couture looks by Giovanna Engelbert for this year’s Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala in New York.

Recognising Swarovski’s collaborations with some of fashion’s biggest names, the exhibit posed crystal embellished pieces from illustrious fashion brands, including Gucci, Versace, Dior, Balenciaga, Schiaparelli and Armani. The display also highlights a series of dazzling red carpet looks worn by Harry Styles, Beyoncé, Doja Cat and Katy Perry.

Brimming with thousands of shiny jewellery pieces, figurines, and crystals was a curated selection of looks donned by global pop culture icons Josephine Baker, Tina Turner, Kylie Minogue and Madonna, drawn from the Swarovski heritage collection.

Paying homage to the fashion industry, Masters of Light also brings together an exceptional spectacle of over 50 crystal-embellished looks designed by prominent fashion houses, including Miu Miu, Fendi Couture, Gucci, and Atelier Versace pieces designed by Gianni and Donatella Versace. Armani Privé by Giorgio Armani is also presented alongside global designers Alexander McQueen, Louis Vuitton, Thierry Mugler, and Vivienne Westwood.
