Peppered with whimsical flowers, the fluttering of butterflies and a delicate warmth, Van Cleef & Arpels’ imaginary garden showcase bids ode to the beauty of spring. Collaborating with French artist Julie Joseph, the Maison opened a portal to the splendour of flora and fauna as well as the beauty of the Maison’s high jewellery collections.
Showcased for the first time in Singapore, fashion darlings and jewellery connoisseurs had the privilege of frolicking amidst the gardens while discovering Van Cleef & Arpels’ historical, enchanting gems.

Expressing the awakening of nature, the imaginary garden showcase celebrated the arrival of spring with nature-infused, floral and animal motifs. Decorated into four different universes — three colourful lavish gardens and a magical ocean — the charming scenography complemented the poetic and timeless jewellery exhibited. Since its beginnings, the Maison has drawn its inspiration from the vitality of nature. So, it isn’t a surprise that the Maison chose to celebrate the spectacle of nature and renewal with this setting.
As said before, since its founding in 1906, Van Cleef & Arpels has taken clear inspiration from nature when it comes to crafting their timeless jewellery pieces. Echoing the blooming of flowers, lush foliage and heralds of spring, most of their high jewellery creations feature colours and allure of nature. Eliciting emotions and a narrative with every silhouette, the high jewellery pieces have glistening diamonds that highlight the richness of the French Maison’s heritage.
From dewdrops of emeralds to bursting rubies and delicate streams of sapphires, the slew of high jewellery creations present at the showcase, emphasises the broad palette the French Maison has when it comes to creating poetic creations and stories.
Key highlights from the showcase include the Millefiori necklace with interchangeable pendants, the Chevron Mystérieux necklace with detachable pendants and the Jardin de la Rose ring.
Showcasing the artistic brilliance of works, the exhibition generates a gradual transition from one jewel to another, creating a dialogue between all the protagonists of the exhibition and ultimately, offering them a deeper appreciation of the integrity and beauty of all the creations.
