Louis Vuitton first launched its Colour Blossom fine jewellery collection in 2015, as a tribute to the French maison’s iconic Monogram Flower. From rings and pendants to bracelets and earrings, these imaginative expressions of the floral signature have become known for their delicate proportions and colourful iterations of white or pink mother-of-pearl, onyx, malachite, carnelian, amazonite and sodalite. They allow for endless combinations when mixed, matched, and stacked.
More than a decade after its inception and on the 130th anniversary of the Monogram motif, the collection expands into watches for the first time. The new Colour Blossom watches have a 26mm sun-shaped Monogram Flower case with a white mother-of-pearl dial; it is paired with a steel case, a new material for this collection, and accented with a light beige strap for a muted, tonal look. There are four versions of the watch, featuring an amazonite dial in a yellow case and turquoise leather strap, a white mother-of-pearl dial with pink hues and a pink gold case, as well as a previous version set with nearly one carat of diamonds with a brown leather strap.

The idea was to create the perfect jewellery watch to complement the Colour Blossom’s existing silhouette, states artistic director of Louis Vuitton’s watchmaking division, Matthieu Hegi. “We wished to reinterpret an iconic jewellery collection, presenting a women’s timepiece with a jewellery spirit,” he says. “With the mother-of-pearl or hardstone dials, or a diamond-set case, there is also an inherently precious essence, which perfectly reflects the Colour Blossom collection.”
To accompany the launch, Louis Vuitton taps renowned photographers Inez & Vinoodh for the latest Colour Blossom campaign, fronted by its global brand ambassador, Ana de Armas. See how the Cuban-Spanish actress wears the latest collection below.
