Since 1947, when Christian Dior unveiled his legendary presentations at 30, avenue Montaigne in Paris, guests bore witness to his genius as they sat on Napoleon III chairs placed within his salon. Who could’ve imagined that these chairs, with their distinctive pattern—those precise architectural lines woven into cane—would become more than mere furniture detail.

That is where Dior’s iconic cannage pattern originates from. And today, this historic motif lives on in the expanded My Dior jewellery collection, as envisioned by artistic director of Dior jewellery, Victoire de Castellane.

De Castellane has transformed this architectural detail into braided gold pieces that speak to modern luxury. The latest collection showcases her technical prowess with eleven new pieces that push traditional boundaries. Among them, a diamond-pavé choker brings the cannage directly to the neckline, while a double ring spans two fingers for an unexpectedly bold statement. Meanwhile, the sculptural cuff makes an impact on the wrist, alongside a range of bracelets and a single earring crafted in yellow and white gold.
