Rolex redefines luxury restraint with three new Oyster Perpetual dials in lavender, beige and pistachio—each with a smooth matt finish.
Rolex has added some softness to its Oyster Perpetual collection for 2025, introducing three new dial colours that bring a fresh look. The latest offerings—lavender, beige and pistachio—arrive with an unexpected twist: pretty pastels in vibrant lacquering and a smooth, matt finish. A combo that’s entirely new to the current Rolex catalogue.

This isn’t merely a cosmetic refresh. The combination of muted pastels with a sophisticated matt texture creates an understated elegance that feels refreshingly contemporary without sacrificing the collection’s timeless appeal. The lavender graces the petite 28mm case. Meanwhile, the beige adorns the versatile 36mm model, whereas the pistachio brings a touch of unexpected vitality to the 41mm variant.

A new, redesigned case
The 41mm model has received particular attention. It features a redesigned Oyster case and a slimmer Oysterclasp that enhances the watch’s proportions. These subtle refinements demonstrate Rolex’s commitment to continuous improvement, even within their most established designs.

Innovative movements
Beneath these serene surfaces lie movements that represent the pinnacle of contemporary Swiss watchmaking. The 28mm model houses calibre 2232. Meanwhile, both the 36mm and 41mm variants are powered by calibre 3230. Both movements, developed and manufactured entirely in-house, were introduced in 2020 and represent Rolex’s latest technological achievements.

Additionally, calibre 2232 features the innovative Syloxi hairspring— a silicon component with a patented geometry that ensures the calibre’s regularity in any position. In contrast, calibre 3230 incorporates the patented Chronergy escapement, which delivers high energy efficiency alongside the brand’s signature blue Parachrom hairspring. They offer great stability in the face of temperature variations as well as high resistance to shocks. Also, the power reserves are equally impressive: 55 hours for the smaller movement and an exceptional 70 hours for the larger calibre.

Although these technical specifications might sound clinical, they translate into tangible benefits for the wearer. The watches maintain their precision within −2/+2 seconds per day—a standard that exceeds the strict requirements of the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute.
