A striking new chapter.
Imagine wearing a masterpiece that’s artfully crafted from up to 600 assembled components. That’s the beauty of Clash de Cartier. Bold, elegant yet versatile, the collection continues to evolve since its debut in 2019.
Rooted in heritage, Cartier has navigated through the interplay of tradition and modernity, often drawing inspiration from industrial design. Through its aesthetics of sharp studs, clous carrés, and stacked beads, the Maison shakes the very foundations of its heritage to forge a daring mesh—a creative clash. With Clash de Cartier, the house enters a new chapter. Opening up a page that challenges the conventional aesthetic with a collection that’s entirely flexible and fluid, along with the debut of yellow gold necklaces and bracelets, previously graced in rose gold.

As Clash de Cartier evolves, its signature studded mesh is reimagined with new additions on rings, pendants and earrings, featuring vibrant coloured stones in red and green agate, pink chalcedony and onyx. The interplay of hard stone beads and rose gold studs adds to the allure of the collection’s architectural volume with a dynamic flair.
The Clash de Cartier collection brings together bold design and effortless versatility. Playing with colour, texture and form for a look that feels distinctly personal. Our Fashion Editor Zue Wei takes on the Clash de Cartier, and here’s why she’s embracing the collection.
What does the Clash de Cartier collection mean to you?
To me, the Clash de Cartier collection represents a benchmark in versatile jewellery design. One that balances boldness with refinement, while offering endless opportunities to play with contrast, layering and personal expression.
What aspects of the collection do you find influential in modern jewellery design?
The collection strikes the perfect balance between opposing elements: sharp and gentle, masculine and feminine, old and new. The sharp edges on the rows of signature clous carrés studs are never harsh; the Clash de Cartier jewellery provides the right amount of daring, elegant boldness.
The craftsmanship behind these pieces is out of this world. From the moment you pick it up, you can feel the jewellery’s flexibility and dynamism. It melds to the shape of your wrist or falls weightlessly on the neck. And once the clasp is closed, the entire piece is seamless.
How would you recommend styling the pieces for formal and casual occasions?
For casual, everyday outings, the Clash de Cartier collection gives you ample opportunity to play around and experiment with your style. There are so many options in colour and width; I am currently partial to the latest double-row design. I like stacking my rings and bracelets; they are a great finishing touch to any look, especially if your outfit is more understated. And I love throwing on the Clash de Cartier sunglasses; it’s practical and stylish.
For more formal occasions, I prefer to keep it simple with a full matching set of the collection’s more delicate pieces, such as the Clash de Cartier pendant.
Do you have a personal favourite from the collection?
Clash de Cartier ring, Agate. There is something very calming about the colour green.
