Roaring into the new year, TAG Heuer unveils the Carrera Year of the Tiger Limited Edition timepiece, updating the classic Carrera model with a sporty touch. And it’s all about the dial: a gorgeous blue tiger stripes pattern to see you through the year. The lighter blue stripes are made of horizontally brushed metal coated with blue PVD treatment overlapping the darker painted textured metal stripes. Flip the watch over and the sapphire crystal caseback features a blue tiger on the prowl. Limited to only 300 pieces, the back is also engraved with the words “ONE OF 300”. Accents of 18K rose gold plates provide a stunning contrast against the all-blue treatment, used on the indexes, the three hands (hours, minutes and seconds), the day and date apertures, the TAG Heuer logo at 12 o’clock as well as the crown at 3 o’clock. The 41 mm diameter case is of polished steel polished with straps in blue calfskin leather and rose gold contrast stitching. Water-resistant to 100 m, this special edition watch comes packaged in a blue lacquered box that also features the same blue tiger stripes as the dial.
