Swatch gives us two celebratory watches this Lunar New Year. First is the Big Bold Biosourced watch, with its attention-grabbing 47 mm size. Its graphic design illustrates a snake writhing through a blue bamboo forest. The matt blue dial holds gold-colored hour and minute hands that glow in the dark.Meanwhile, an orange seconds hand ticks by, adding a sliver of contrast. A day-date window takes up the 3 o’clock position. Uniquely, the oversized case, glass and bezel are all biosourced, and further accented with an orange pusher and gold-coloured print on the bezel.
The second watch is an ultra-slim Skin Irony model that boasts a sun-brushed gold-colored dial with multi-coloured print. Here, a gold snake stretches itself through an amber bamboo forest. Measuring 38 mm, the stainless steel case is coated with gold-coloured PVD, further paired with an ivory-hued leather and textile strap. Both models carry a quartz movement.
