From teen hearthrobs to former child stars, blockbuster actors and indie standouts, the class of 2025 for rising stars is brimmed with whooping great names—one of them being Matthew Broome. Forging his own path in the entertainment industry, the British actor started his stardom with the 2023 Apple TV+ period drama, The Buccaneers. Making everyone weak in the knees with his punchy lines, complex character and handsome face, Broome felt his first brush of fame with his debut character, Guy Thwarte. The British actor had been also winning hearts with his TikTok famous audio “She Chose Me, Did She?”—a swoonworthy audio used by many content creators, especially booktokers.

Fast forward to 2025, Broome is making headlines with his fun and dangerous film, My Fault:London, a reimagination of the Spanish series Culpa Mia which was also produced my Amazon Studios. He was born on 24 February 2000 and is 25-years-old this year. 

He’s a Pisces 

Since he is a water sign, he is known to be easygoing, deeply emotional and empathetic. The best part? He’s charming, romantic and oh so dreamy.

He studied at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama

Before the Britich actor ramps up for the biggest year of his career, Broome attended the Guldhall School of Music & Drama, and graduated with Bachelor of Arts (BA) in acting. He was featured in notable productions such as Anna Karenina and Julius Caesar. 

He loves tea and Dr Pepper

As British as he can be, he’s a big fan of a cup of tea with a dash of sugar—always squeezing the tea bag at the side of his cup. But, besides that, he’s also a fan of a large Dr Pepper for snacking.

My Fault: London is actually based on the book series written by Mercedes Ron titled My Fault. Before getting picked up by Bloom Books, the books series was actually on Wattpad, which Matthew Broome didn’t know existed until he got casted as the male main character in the series.
