In the eight-course menu, guests will find all-time favourites such as the Traditional Braised Chicken with Chinese Herbs and Steamed Whole Mangrove Jack Snapper, with the classic Sesame Nian Gao to finish. These are accompanied by fresh and innovative creations like the Sea Moss Abalone En Croute—a truffle-infused flaky crust enveloping an abalone—that is making its debut. To enhance the festive spirit, those dining will be treated to a captivating series of live performances, which include the attendance of an award-winning guzheng artist, a Chinese calligraphy master and an exclusive appearance from the God of Wealth.

Eight-Course Reunion Dinner Set Meal

If the timing doesn’t allow you to make the Reunion Dinner, Sunway Resort Hotel’s eight-course CNY Dinner Set Menu is available and spans a month long. Here, guests will get to experience the exquisite menu at the Sunset Terrace, which overlooks the Sunway Lagoon theme park. Begin with a toss to the start of a prosperous year with the Lobster & Fresh Norwegian Salmon Yee Sang, and embark on a culinary journey with highlights such as the Sea Moss Abalone En Croute, Typhoon Shelter Tiger Prawns and Steamed Barramundi Fillet.

For those who would like to venture beyond the Chinese cuisine on top of the traditional delicacies, the Bountiful Lunar New Year Buffet proudly features well-loved culinary creations like the Stuffed Whole Boneless Chicken with Sea Cucumber & Fish Maw in Superior Stock, Poached Tiger Prawns with Lobster Bisque and Steamed Fish Fillet with Spicy Golden Capsicum among many other scrumptious plats du jour.
