The ‘Suits‘ alumni presented the ‘Best TV Drama’ category on stage, months after the drama series found its new home on Netflix, setting streaming records as the top series of 2023.

HBO Original’s TV series ‘Succession’ sweeps with the most awards in the categories and conquered with four wins: Best Television Series, Drama; Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series, Drama for Sarah Snook; Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series, Drama for Kieran Culkim; and Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Supporting Role for Matthew Macfadyen.

A light-hearted interaction between Pedro Pascal and Keiran Culkin got the whole crowd applauding to Culkin’s acceptance speech. As the 41-year-old took the stage as he received his trophy for ‘Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series’, the actor embraced his win with a cheeky banter.

Targeted at his fellow category nominee, Pedro Pascal, for the HBO series ‘The Last of Us’, Culkin expressed, “I was nominated for a Golden Globe, like, 20 years ago. When that moment passed, I remember thinking, ‘I’m never going to be back in this room again.” He later continued, “It’s fine, whatever. But, thanks to ‘Succession’, I’ve been in here a couple times, it’s been nice, but I sort of accepted I was never be on the stage. So, this is a nice moment. Suck it, Pedro. I’m sorry,” he said holding his statue up to Pascal. “Mine!”

The camera later cut to Pascal, who laughed and pretended to cry at this interaction.

‘The Bear’ Actor Ayo Edebiri Thanked Her Assistants

Ayo Edebiri, who played Chef Sydney on FX’s ‘The Bear‘, won her first Golden Globe with her first nomination for ‘Best Performance by an Actress in Television Series, Musical, or Comedy’. Her heartwarming acceptance speech was delivered as one of the most charming speeches of the night. The best part? Her co-star Jeremy Allen White won his second consecutive Golden Globe for ‘Best Actor in a TV Musical or Comedy Series’, for his role in the hit show.

It’s safe to say that this humble reunion between the two co-stars came at the right time, as the movie prequel “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes” was recently released in November 2023.
