With the year coming to a close, we’re feeling particularly proud of all that we’ve achieved this year. Story Pick: The Sport of Being Hannah Bronfman

Why: This story encapsulates everything that makes digital storytelling exciting! Acrobatics and high fashion – enough said!

Kerry Pieri, Digital Fashion/Features Director

Story Pick: Party at the Plaza: Julia Goldani Telles Models The New Holiday Looks

Why: I loved styling this beautiful up-and-coming actress. I gave her the inspiration of a grown up Eloise lost, and possibly hung-over at The Plaza—and she completely ran with it. On-the-rise designers like Rosie Assoulin and Johanna Ortiz were perfection on her…

Story Pick: I Got a Medical Facial On My Butt

Why: I’ll try anything in the name of full-body skin perfection, including, it turns out, a chemical peel and laser treatment on my butt. It was a little out of my comfort zone, but it ended up being one of my favourite beauty appointments of the year.

Chrissy Rutherford, Senior Digital Editor

Story Pick: Bazaar’s Guide to Black Girl Beauty

Why: I love reading about other people’s beauty routines. This story was just born out of my own curiosity of wanting to know where all the fabulous black girls in the industry go to get their hair done, and what makeup they use—as I always like to switch up my own routine.

*Bonus Pick: Kourtney Kardashian On Keeping Up With Three Kids

Why: We’ve all virtually been inside the Kardashians’ homes for years now, but to actually be in one was a surreal experience this year.

Story Pick: Rainbow Connection: I Tried Sand Art Hair

Why:I got to live out my My Little Pony hair dreams this year—I’ll never be able to top this.

Lauren Fisher, Associate Digital Editor

Story Pick: 11 Life Lessons from “The Golden Girls”

Why: Since 2015 was, like it or not, the year of the squad, one of my favourite stories was going back to the original girl squad—The Golden Girls—for some inspiration. Sorry Taylor Swift but let’s not forget Blanche, Dorothy, Rose and Sophia were the original #SquadGoals. Plus, it’s not every day that I get to write about Golden Girls so this was a major win.

Romy Otulski, Associate Features Editor

Story Pick: #ManCrushMonday: Adam Pally

Why: I could not have had more fun interviewing Adam Pally for my column, #ManCrushMonday, last month. Some time between the campy photo shoot we conducted on his iPhone and our serious heart-to-heart about the best bagels in New York (sorry—not in the final edit; some things are just too sacred to share), I realised that he is basically all of his screen characters’ best qualities combined. How often does that happen?

Story Pick: In Photos: Monaco’s Royal Family Over the Years

Why: I just love going through the archive and researching for rarely seen images, especially when it comes to royal families.

Erica Gonzalez, Bazaar.com Contributor

Story Pick: Zoe’s Make-A-Wish Fashion Shoot

Why: It’s no question that fashion can inspire, but it’s not every day you find something as moving as this. A 16-year-old leukaemia patient in remission, Zoey, is granted her wish of starring in her own BAZAAR spread (styled by Joanna Hillman, of course) and the result is simply beautiful. It may or may not make you low-key cry.
