International Women’s Day has occurred for well over a century, with its roots tracing back to 1911, marking a focal point in the movement for gender equality. The day is not affiliated with any country, group, or organisation, as it belongs to everyone who simply believes that women’s rights are human rights.
In light of the upcoming event, we mark the day with a thought-provoking short film that draws attention to some of the most timely matters affecting women and girls today with Sharifah Sakinah, Jasmine Suraya, and Sangeetha Krishnasamy taking the lead roles. Here, get the taste in the teaser. The full film will premiere on BAZAAR on the 8th of March, this Sunday.
