Alternatively, its seating position is high-upright – iconic of the SUV. The car provides all-around visibility in practical value rooted in the acoustic environmental protection feature, which alerts pedestrians and cyclists while driving almost silently. With innovative details drawn, EQA sets a pre-entry climate control for the interior before start-up.

The body of EQA was adapted to meet specific requirements faced by electric vehicles – the battery. A structural function is located in a frame made of extruded profiles, as seen handled by a crossbeam under the floor. The EQA is equipped with a high energy density lithium-ion battery that allows a safety concept for high voltage systems automatically switched off in case of a collision. In keeping with the notion of public charging points, the load charger provides a convenient way to charge the EQA with both AC and DC CCS charging sockets.

“We are excited to kick off our EV offensive with the introduction of the EQA, which is the entry-level model to the all-electric world of Mercedes-EQ. Packed with seamless connectivity, clear design, and advanced technology, the EQA is progressive and intuitive and offers customers electrification in the compact segment. The EQA is an important vehicle, both globally and locally as we embark on our journey towards an all-electric future.” says Michael Jopp, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Mercedes-Benz Malaysia.
