Not limited to acting, Storrie also has a passion for directing films. In fact, he just wrapped a feature film, which was shot entirely on an iPhone. In an interview with Variety, the actor revealed the plot of his film.
“It’s about this alien spirit that incarnates into a human body, wakes up as a full-blown adult and just gets fucked over for an hour and a half [by] the brutality of life, violence, being robbed, being stolen, being abused, being all of it, and then finding companionship through that.”
Before he got into acting, his passion was tumbling
Growing up in West Texas, where tumbling, gymnastics, and competitive cheerleading were a huge deal, Storrie was actually a tumbler himself.

To play Ilya Rozanov, he had to learn how to skate, play hockey and speak Russian
Before filming, he had to learn an entirely new language by participating in three to four-hour online classes every day. In an interview with Out, “Also, selfishly, I just love the Russian language. I love any opportunity to do an accent, learn a new skill, and this had all of it.”
He submitted his self-tape for ‘Heated Rivalry’, completely shirtless
In an interview with Variety, he confessed his commitment to booking the part. “If we’re doing a show that heavily involves sex. So I took off my shirt, even though it didn’t say that. I had my shirt off the entire time because I was like, ‘If we’re doing that, you all have to see what these people look like naked.’
He was a waiter before booking ‘Heated Rivalry’
Since high school, he spent his time working at a restaurant 40 hours a week. In fact, before booking the show, he worked as a waiter at the Laurel Grill in Culver City.

Storrie was an inmate at Arkham Asylum who killed Phoenix’s character, Arthur Fleck, in the final scene. The actor had to keep his role and scene in the film a secret for two years before its release, while Director Todd Phillips kept the significance of his “true role” a secret as well. In fact, Storrie only uncovered the twist of his role on the first day of filming.
