Born in 1995, the talented actor was actually born on 2 June.

He was born and raised in Bristol

While he may have spent his time in Bristol, his parents — a New Zealander father and a Welsh mother — encouraged him to embrace both cultures. In an interview with 1883 Magazine, Remmers stated, “My dad taught me the Māori national anthem when I was younger, and whenever I sing it, I get really emotional, I don’t know why.”

He kickstarted his journey in theatre before dabbling in modelling

Landing the role of Kol in the play “The Grandfathers” at 17 years old, the actor was scouted by an agent, which drove him to pursue a modelling career in between.

The play premiered at the Bristol Old Vic and was then transferred to the National Theatre in London. In fact, his favourite plays of all time were “Mojo” starring Ben Whishaw, Daniel Mays and Rupert Grint.

His passion for acting began in secondary school

The actor has openly discussed his dyslexia, which made navigating school academically challenging for him. However, his passion grew after participating in school projects and plays. From there, he joined after-school drama groups before enrolling on performing arts courses.

He’s a massive fan of Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction.

In several interviews, the actor has shared that watching “Pulp Fiction” inspired him to pursue a career in acting. He found motivation in the characters, captivated by their emotions, vibrant personalities, and humour.
