Khloé Kardashian has just spoken out about her newborn daughter for the first time since welcoming her to the family last Thursday. In her first Instagram post since giving birth to her first child with Tristan Thompson, the new mom also shares her daughter’s name: True Thompson.

Khloé seems to be following in her sisters’ footsteps of opting for unconventional baby names (like Chicago and Stormi). Her days-old child’s moniker has plenty of meanings, including “steadfast, loyal,” according to Merriam Webster.
Kardashian posted a photo of a pink room (which looks like a nursery) full of balloons this afternoon. She wrote in the caption: “Our little girl, True Thompson, has completely stolen our hearts and we are overwhelmed with LOVE. Such a blessing to welcome this angel into the family! Mommy and Daddy loooooove you True!”

This also marked Khloé’s first time mentioning Tristan Thompson since cheating allegations against the basketball star surfaced last week, nearly coinciding with True’s birth. Thompson was reportedly in the delivery room when their daughter was born.
Khloé previously hinted that she wanted to give her baby girl a T name, but the one she ended up choosing comes as a surprise.

Kardashian first announced she was pregnant with True in December 2017, when she revealed her baby bump with a heartfelt message on Instagram. She wrote:
“My greatest dream realized! We are having a baby! I had been waiting and wondering but God had a plan all along. He knew what He was doing. I simply had to trust in Him and be patient. I still at times can’t believe that our love created life! Tristan, thank you for loving me the way that you do! Thank you for treating me like a Queen! Thank you for making me feel beautiful at all stages! Tristan, most of all, Thank you for making me a MOMMY!!! You have made this experience even more magical than I could have envisioned! Since the initial announcement, Khloé openly documented her pregnancy journey on Instagram and on Keeping Up with the Kardashians. On the latter, she publicized special moments, like the time she told her family she and Tristan were expecting.
