It’s starting to look as though Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney might be getting married very soon indeed.
Lawrence and Maroney, an art gallerist from New York, were first rumored to be dating in the summer of 2018. At the time, a source told Page Six TV, “The relationship has been going on a few weeks. But they have been very private and careful not to be seen together.”
And now, a source close to the couple tells BAZAAR.com that Lawrence and Maroney have just celebrated their engagement party. Apparently they didn’t reveal the party’s location until the night, and phones were banned from the venue. The source also revealed that several celebs were in attendance including Emma Stone.
Makeup artist Fulvia Farolfi shared the sweetest photo of Lawrence, along with the caption, “YES!!! What a joy to be part of this moment!! ?

For the occasion, Lawrence wore the Juliana wedding dress from NYC-based brand L. WELLS, and you can currently pre-order the same design in two colors. Designer Lauren Wells previously worked for Vera Wang, before creating her own bridal label. And this isn’t the first time that Lawrence has worn L. WELLS, either. The actress donned a wedding gown by the brand when she attended a movie premiere in November 2017.
Ahead of the engagement party, Lawrence was spotted stepping out in New York alongside her fiancé.

Meanwhile, a source recently told People that “the pair checked out two New York City luxury hotels in early April.” A source added, “I would be surprised if the wedding were not a fairly extensive family affair.”
