Eighteen-year-old Kylie Jenner wants just three simple things in adulthood: “Business-wise, I would love to have a really successful cosmetic line and then family/personal-wise, I’d like to have a really big family and a farm,” she told Paper.
As the doll-like cover star of its YOUth issue, Kylie answered a series of DMs from her friends, fans, and the magazine. The biggest misconception about her, she wrote to a fan, is “probably that I’m just super fake and that at 16/17, I got my full face reconstructed and that I only care about materialistic things.”

She’d like to start a family sooner than her sisters did: “I don’t want to start [having] a baby when I’m 30! I don’t believe in after 30—I don’t know,” she responded when Paper asked her about that time she said having her first kid after 30 is “too late.” But both your sisters Kourtney and Kim did, the magazine noted. “But they all wanted to have kids before. Kim was like, ‘I better have two kids before 30.’ She always said that.”

As for who the idea for Kylie’s Lip Kit business came from? Not Kris Jenner but the sales people at M.A.C and Sephora, Kylie revealed: “I think it all started with my lips when I would overline them. I didn’t see one other girl wearing nude lipstick—I didn’t even care about the lipstick, I just wanted my lips to be bigger—and then I started seeing a bunch of girls wearing nude lipstick. I was going to M.A.C and Sephora and I’d try to buy my lipstick and the girls working there would be like, ‘Kylie, everyone comes in asking what color you use. Everything’s sold out—I’m sorry!’ They were like, ‘These people should be paying you! Everyone comes in and asks for your color.’ And then the Kylie Jenner makeup tutorials started coming and it became a big thing. I feel like that’s when I really realized.” And is realizing, as Kylie Cosmetics gets bigger and bigger yet.
