As the curtains draw to a close on Samsonite Malaysia’s Annual Luggage Trade-in campaign, the brand is redefining sustainable luxury in travel. With its commitment to eco-friendly practices, Samsonite continues to make waves by transforming pre-loved luggages into innovative solutions. Apart from that, unusable units were also added to the process, whether recycled or disposed of. From there, selected components are then upcycled into exclusive artisan coasters, made from 100% recycled plastic.
Partnering with Fuze Ecoteer, the brand breathes new life into the collected luggage throughout the campaign. The best part? These are available for redemption starting 15 August 2025.
In a move that epitomises their dedication to both sustainability and community, Samsonite is donating RM62,810 to WWF-Malaysia, pledging RM10 for every trade-in transaction.
How do I redeem the Samsonite artisan coasters?
If you’ve joined the movement, you can redeem your artisan coasters by presenting your receipt at selected Samsonite stores. If you missed the chance to trade in your luggage, don’t worry; you can still purchase at the selected Samsonite stores to receive a coaster.

Running annually, the campaign, which ran from 16 May to 13 July this year, showcases the Nuon and the Octolite Neo collections.
The Nuon collection, a perfect blend of sleek design and practicality, offers a seamless travel experience with its lightweight polycarbonate. Its interior lining, crafted from Recyclex materials, makes it the top choice for travellers who value both style and sustainability.

Featuring zipper teeth and tape made from 95% recycled PET plastic, this collection is a nod to those conscious of their environmental footprint with a timeless flair.
