The guesthouse draws its inspiration from the rich tapestry of Malacca and capture everything Malacca stands for – heritage, culture and history. Located in the heart of Malacca’s UNESCO World Heritage site, the 1941 pre-war art deco building has been painstakingly restored into a stylish abode epitomising a “new luxury”
Their intention was to combine the 4 units each with a lot size of only 500 square feet into their dream bohemian residence cum work place within the living Cultural Enclave of George Town.

Cove 55’s humble beginnings of originally being a family house was quickly turned into a business by a husband and wife team, after seeing its potential as Sarawak’s first retreat villa. Its cool whites, minimalist decor with Iban-traditional accents sets the tone against the verdant lush rainforest greenery of the surrounding Santubong peninsula.
