The guesthouse draws its inspiration from the rich tapestry of Malacca and capture everything Malacca stands for – heritage, culture and history. Located in the heart of Malacca’s UNESCO World Heritage site, the 1941 pre-war art deco building has been painstakingly restored into a stylish abode epitomising a “new luxury”
Their intention was to combine the 4 units each with a lot size of only 500 square feet into their dream bohemian residence cum work place within the living Cultural Enclave of George Town.
A Tropical Retreat
The Shorea is a Boutique Eco-Resort set in the Berembun Forest Reserve, It has 8 villas with 15 rooms that accommodate up to 40 adults. It has two wings, namely The Shorea Estate and The Shorea Resort.

Cove 55’s humble beginnings of originally being a family house was quickly turned into a business by a husband and wife team, after seeing its potential as Sarawak’s first retreat villa. Its cool whites, minimalist decor with Iban-traditional accents sets the tone against the verdant lush rainforest greenery of the surrounding Santubong peninsula.
A Cultural Escape
Antique buildings of Chinese, Malay, Indian and Eurasian origin, make up this 8 villa hotel. For Malaysia this is a new concept of hotel where the villas can be rented as one, or as individual hotel rooms. Each building has, over its 70-110 year old history, created its own heart and soul.
