MOTEL MEXICOLA

This trendy tapas bar and restaurant in central Seminyak serves magnificent Mexican food with a modern twist and incredible cocktails from the cantina-style set-up. Take some friends for tacos and tequilas before getting your salsa on to some live Latin music in the colourful courtyard. The decor is eclectic and authentic, from the bright tile mosaics down to the curious ‘shrines’ featuring retro photographs and thick wax candles. It may be famous for food but this isn’t the place for a romantic meal for two – the atmosphere is typically loud and lively Latino, with waiters only too happy to pour tequila straight down your throat while encouraging you to dance on the tables. You might even catch fire dancers frolicking around the place.
