Volvo has dedicated its business to help protect the lives of people both inside and outside its cars, showing the same dedication to protecting the planet.

With that, here are 3 green initiatives Volvo has vowed to achieve:

  • Working towards becoming a climate neutral company by 2040. Besides electrifying Volvo's fleet, Volvo is addressing emissions across the value chain, and aiming to reduce lifecycle emissions per vehicle by 40% by 2025.

  • Becoming Fully Electric by 2030. Volvo aims for 50% of its sales to be fully electric cars by 2025, and by 2030, to only produce fully electric vehicles.

  • Creating a transformative showroom experience—online. Volvo's new flagship showroom will be available online via the Volvo website, with the aim to enable more offers and services online, making it as easy as possible to choose a car with no tailpipe emissions.
