Le Bristol Paris Celebrates its 100th Anniversary

This proudly Parisian institution welcomes its centenary in style

In 2025, Le Bristol Paris marks 100 years since it was founded by the Jammet family, and later entrusted to the German Oetker family to preserve its legacy as the pinnacle of luxury in the hospitality industry. Located at 112 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, a stone’s throw away from the Élysée Palace, the five-star hotel is among the last few family-owned grand hotels in the world and offers an authentic experience of true Parisian elegance and sophistication.

Here’s everything to look forward to at Le Bristol Paris this year…

It comes to no surprise that the hotel has a rich legacy. As such, Le Bristol Paris has partnered with Groupe Flammarion to publish a book entitled ‘Ode to an Art of Living’. Released in September 2025, it recounts the hotel’s history with fascinating details on its architecture and intimate stories of notable patrons who passed through these storied halls. The hotel is also celebrating its centenary by giving guests a glimpse into Le Bristol Paris’s unparalleled, bespoke approaches to service and hospitality, as outlined in the book.

A meticulously curated, immersive experience awaits. From the moment guests step through the glistening gold doors of the building’s grand exterior, they are greeted with the soothing scent of white musk, vetiver, and cedar—a custom fragrance created in collaboration with master candle maker Cire Trudon.

The aroma permeates throughout the building, wafting through the marbled lobby to its exquisite rooms and suites. A vinyl record playing specially chosen jazz songs can be heard softly playing. It only makes the inauguration of the Imperial Suite, redesigned with American painter George Condo, more exciting. The doors open to reveal an atelier-inspired suite, decorated with custom-made artworks. There are accents of green, matching the calming view from the balcony: a tapestry of lush plants and trees in Le Bristol Paris’s crowning jewel, its beautifully manicured courtyard garden.  It’s not just the spectacularly designed rooms. Every aspect of any guests’ stay flows with refined ease, from the vibrant cuisine at Epicure led by Chef Arnaud Faye and outstanding spa and wellness treatments down to the wardrobe.

Even entertainment has been carefully planned throughout the year. In 2025, there are a series of significant events, including a summer garden party and an extravagant 100th anniversary gala, to mark the occasion. With their ears to the ground, the hotel staff also tailor their service to match the expectations of each guest, anticipating their needs, whether they have planned an action-packed tour of the city or a relaxing staycation. Luca Allegri, President of Le Bristol Paris, shares the luxury hotel’s philosophy:

“Le Bristol Paris is the art of the intangible, the very essence of quiet luxury. From the moment you step through the revolving door, you feel the positive energy of our concierges and reception team! The staff creates a celebration at every moment with spontaneity and authenticity. The joy of life permeates the entire hotel, and we nurture that spirit daily.”
