Thankfully, Pinterest has tracked down next year’s biggest trends to help you know exactly what to pack and where to book a gram-worthy Airbnb.

This year, millennials flocked to the greek island of Mykonos courtesy of it’s A-list approval after the likes of Gigi Hadid and Emily Ratajkowski documented their travels on social media.

Meanwhile, solo female travel soared in popularity with top destination spots including Cuba, Sri Lanka and Portugal.

No longer are we looking for Instagram approval, as Pinterest reports that search for ‘less travelled islands’ is up by 179% .

Vrångö is a lesser known travel destination while Gugh in Cornwall is a treat for those wishing for a getaway closer to home.
