Tiffany & Co. Goes Au Naturale

A glittering crowd, including our very own Dato’ Michelle Yeoh, illuminated Beijing’s Phoenix Center at Tiffany & Co.’s A Celebration of Nature gala. Also spotted: Gao Yuanyuan, Peter Chan and Sandra Ng, Zhang Zilin, Li Chen, Ning Zetao, Zhang Yao and Ma Sicun.

Transformed into New York’s legendary Central Park (replete with its famous landmarks and architectural gardens), the event honoured the American luxury jeweller’s perennial muse: Nature, herself. “The designs celebrate the natural world as the greatest inspiration for Tiffany design. Nature is the source of the patterns, as well as diamonds and gemstones that bring Tiffany jewels to life,” says Laurent Cathala, Tiffany & Co.’s group vice president.

Among the rare gems showcased were butterfly brooches based on designs from the Tiffany Archives. With wings of platinum wirework adorned with sparkling gemstones, the exquisite creation from the masterminds at Tiffany’s & Co. reflected the house’s craftsmanship and innovation for which Tiffany is renowned.
