Justin Timberlake has been a hot topic of conversation online this weekend after being spotted in New Orleans holding hands with someone other than his wife. Timberlake has been married to actress Jessica Biel since 2012, and the couple shares a son called Silas.
Timberlake was photographed on the balcony of a bar in New Orleans, along with his current costar in the movie Palmer, Alisha Wainwright. Here’s what we know about the rumors so far.

The Sun shared video footage of the pair, which appeared to show Wainwright touching Timberlake’s leg, and then the pair holding hands. An onlooker allegedly told The Sun, “At one stage he grabbed her hand and rested it on his knee. She then gently started stroking his leg.” The onlooker continued, “Then he clutched her hand with both of his and was playing with her hands.”

A SOURCE CALLED THE MOMENT “COMPLETELY INNOCENT.”
According to People, a source explained, “It’s a balcony with a group of people and it was definitely nothing happening.” The source continued, “He’s down there shooting [his film] Palmer, they’re starring in the movie together and they’re cool and everybody was just hanging out.”
The source also implied that Timberlake wouldn’t be stupid enough to flaunt himself in public if anything untoward was going on. According to said source, “Like come on, they’re on an open balcony in New Orleans and he’s famous. It was nothing.”

WAINWRIGHT’S REP DENIED THE CLAIMS.
Per People, Wainwright’s representative released a statement and said, “There is no validity to this speculation. They are currently working on a project together. Members of the cast and crew were all together.”
In September, Variety announced Timberlake’s involvement in Palmer, which follows “a former college football phenomenon who, after a stint in prison, returns to his hometown to get his life back on track.” It seems as though a lot of people will be eager to watch the forthcoming movie now.
