See It, Style It
At the media preview in Seoul, we got to see and experience the re-engineered attachments for the Supersonic dryer: mainly, the air dryer that delivers fast, gentle styling for fine or coloured hair and sensitive scalps; the re-engineered diffuser with longer prongs that enhance and define curls while providing better airflow and drying; as well as the re-engineered styling concentrator that is wider and thinner for more precise airflow and a smoother, straighter finish.
Celebrity stylist, Park Je Hee who was at the presentation to demonstrate the usage of these re-engineered attachments said that while many of her clients preferred her using the Dyson Supersonic hair dryer, they discovered a large difference with the new attachments. “They feel less heat and less hair loss with the gentle air dryer, and it’s not just for the ladies; men experience a lot less flyaways with it too,” said Park.
As for the Airwrap styler, re-engineered attachments include smaller smoothing brushes for styling short hair and bangs, as well as longer barrels of 30mm and 40mm. “It is much quicker to curl longer hair with these new barrels, and of course, I personally use the new smoothing brushes for my short hair as well,” Park said of the Airwrap styler updates. With the stylist and the stars so on board with the new attachments, is there really any question about Dyson’s dedication to your crowning glory? g The Dyson Supersonic hair dryer and new attachments are sold as a set at at RM1,799; and Dyson Airwrap styler at RM2,199, exclusively on shop.dyson.my and Dyson Demo outlets. Additional attachments for the Dyson Airwrap will be available in 2020.
