South Korean hair stylist Park Je Hee who counts Jennie of Blackpink and actress Hyojin Kong as her clients, gave a live demonstration using the upcoming re-engineered attachments of the Dyson Airwrap styler and, of course … let us in on a few hair hacks along the way.

1. Wet Hair Style

Spray hair with some water for a style that holds, Park says, “Spritz hair to dampen it before styling. And with the Dyson Airwrap, make sure hair is fully around the barrel for 10 seconds and let hair cool for five seconds before moving onto the next section.”

2. Last Longer

Ever wondered how K-celebs have hair that lasts all day? The key, as Park says, is in pre-treatment. You’ll need a hardening mousse according to Park, “Apply a little when the hair is still damp, and then brush it down before styling.”

3. The Long Barrel

Never underestimate the power of length. To get sexy loose curls like K-idol Song Hye-kyo, Park recommends using a longer barrel, “It’s very popular among my clients. To achieve this loose curls look, I use the latest 40mm barrel.”

4. Never Sleep On It

With hair health, Park says that the one cardinal sin is leaving your products on too long, “Whether it’s dry shampoo or mousse, as long as you use hair product that touches the scalp, you should shampoo your hair before you sleep.”
