Celine Haute Parfumerie introduces a new scent and an array of bath products that turn every bathing moment into an intimately luxurious ritual. Go ahead and indulge.
For a complete Celine experience, the fashion house debuts its cologne Céleste. Taking inspiration from creative director Hedi Slimane’s olfactory journal, Céleste pays tribute to traditional eau de cologne and its heritage. Drawing from French and Italian origins, the scent builds its structure with citrus, here refined and muted into a more intimate aromatic note. In the background, delicate tones of neroli intermingle with the smooth and sugary notes of orange blossom.
For contrast, sweet lemon essence heightens the luminous zest accord, while angelica adds its own aromatic touch. Then for some elegance, ambrette butter and orris butter lend its powdery caress. As a result, Céleste becomes a comforting scent. One that lets its raw materials express themselves with a soft but instantly recognisable voice.
The Céleste experience is further amplified by complementary bath and body products, first initiated by the release of solid soaps last June. These include L’huile Céleste, a perfumed oil for body and hair; Le Lait Céleste Pour Le Bain, a perfumed bath milk, and Le Savon Solide Parfumé, a perfumed solid soap.
The Perfumed Oil
Caress your body and hair in L’huile Céleste, also ideal for use as a massage oil. This light and non-greasy elixir moisturises and softens while perfuming the skin while it nourishes the hair. All thanks to a composition enriched by three types of oil. Namely olive squalene, jojoba oil and sunflower oil rich in Omega 9 and anti-oxidising vitamin E.
The Perfumed Bath Milk
For a truly luxe experience, pour about 15 ml of Le Lait Céleste into hot water for an enchanting bath. Feel yourself soaking in a fragrant milky cloud that leaves the skin soft and supple as well as pleasantly perfumed. Borne from nano-emulsion technology, Le Lait Céleste preserves its softening and perfuming qualities in the bath.
The Solid Soaps
The basic need for every bathing ritual—the solid soap, in the form of Le Savon Solide Parfumé. As it glides across your skin, this soap gently cleanses and preserves the skin’s moisture while leaving it delicately perfumed. When stored dry inside your drawer, it also helps to perfume the linens.
Your Personal Fragrance-filled Ritual
Composed to evoke the enjoyment and reassuring comfort of the bath ritual, this collection is cosseted in the sweet rounded notes of orange blossom. Just imagine turning every bathing experience into a slowed down fragrance-filled saga, reminiscent of ancient rituals. In a world that demands for you to keep pace, to have a moment to just take time for yourself is the ultimate luxury. Indulge in the precious milks and rare essences. And breathe in the fragrant vapours of rosewater and orange blossom scents and eau céleste as you lather. Then end with a body rub with the eau de cologne. The entire experience leaves your body delicately scented, enveloped by a powdery veil to get you through the day.
“I created the eau de cologne Céleste and its line for the intimate and comforting ritual of bathing. this is an essential gesture that systematically plunges me back into the gentle and soothing atmosphere of childhood. First, it is about pouring it into the bath water and surrendering yourself to the smooth, delicate and sugary notes of orange blossom. Then, after the bath, used as a body rub the eau de cologne Céleste will protect you all day long and veil your clothes in a soft and elegant scent.” – Hedi Slimane
Additionally, Celine also carries a selection of bathroom accessories including soap cases, toothbrush cases, and receptacles for your cotton swabs, all in sleek aluminium. It’s the kind of luxurious pampering that only a Parisian couture house as refined as Celine could offer. Is there a better gift to get for yourself this festive season?
