After tying the knot on Thursday, Serena Williams continues to share sweet moments from her wedding with Alexis Ohanian in New Orleans. Though the tennis pro refrained from posting pictures or updates on social media during her nuptials, she first broke her silence on Friday with a stunning photo of her wedding dress—a ball gown by Alexander McQueen.
Since then, Williams hasn’t skimped on the sharing. Next came photos of her mother, Oracene Price, and baby girl, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. (who already has her own Instagram by the way). The two-month-old had a tiny white gown of her own.
The groom shared an official family portrait, too.
As predicted, Williams didn’t just wear one look for the occasion; she wore three. Her third dress was a playful yet elegant Versace number, adorned with beads and feathers. The embellishments were even more stunning as the bride twirled and danced around at the afterparty.
She even paired the shorter look with custom, crystal-embellished Nike Cortez sneakers.
Williams and Ohanian’s nuptials at NOLA’s Contemporary Arts Center were full of enviable details, from the celebrity guest list to the Beauty and the Beast theme. A-list attendees included Beyoncé, Kim Kardashian West, Kelly Rowland, Ciara, and Eva Longoria. Guests were asked to dress to the Disney-inspire theme, and were even welcomed with a performance of “Be Our Guest” at the reception. Plus, the tables were all named after Williams’ Grand Slam Titles and party favors included personalized golden trophies.
One of the best highlights of the night, however, was when newlyweds got to share the stage with New Edition.
