Kendall Jenner is the most followed model on Instagram in 2017, with double the followers of the second most popular model, Cara Delevingne.
The 22-year-old was also recently named the highest-paid model in the world, suggesting that social media really can influence a models’ success in the 21st century fashion world.
Here’s a breakdown of the top 10 most popular models on Instagram:

Kendall has 85 million followers on Instagram. She was also the model who gained the most Instagram followers this year, amassing 12.7 million more than in 2016.
The social media success doesn’t stop there. Jenner was also the model with the most-liked photo of the year.

Even though she now focuses her time primarily on acting rather than modelling, Cara is the second most-followed model on Instagram with 40.7 million followers.

Gigi has 36.8 million Instagram followers, making her the third most-followed model. However, she also gained 8.6 million followers this year alone – the most gained by a model aside from Kendall Jenner.

Following closely behind her elder sister is Bella Hadid, the third most-followed model on Instagram with 15.8 million followers.
