The South Korean romantic drama series that tug at the heartstrings, TVN and Netflix’s Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha has finally ended its eight-week run last weekend. Having taken us through many highs and lows, the show concluded on a sweet note as expected. While we recover and ponder on what to watch next, we think back to the glorious collection of handbags Dr. Yoon Hye-Jin (played by Shin Min-a) wore throughout the series.
A Seoulite whose career as a dentist had fallen apart, Hye-Jin moved to the seaside town of Gongjin to start over and brought along her big city stylish fashion sense to the small village. Take a look at some of our faves below.
Loewe Nano Balloon Bag in Pacific Aqua
Ahh…who could forget this memorable scene when the two first professed their interest in each other. Hye-Jin sports the crossbody aqua nano balloon bag which pops out beautifully in contrast to her yellow floral dress.
Bottega Veneta Small Point Clutch in Chalk
The small and pristine quilted leather top handle bag with a detachable strap makes an appearance by the seaside.
Alexander McQueen The Curve Shoulder Bag in Powder Blue
Hye-Jin dresses up her casual white shirt and black jean shorts ensemble with the striking The Curve bag in powder blue. The unique design is inspired by the silhouette of a harness and can be worn as a crossbody or over the shoulder with its long leather strap.
Louis Vuitton Capucines Mini in Ginger Yellow
Although mostly the strap is visible in the picture here, Hye-Jin is wearing the mini Louis Vuitton Capucines in this exquisite yellow hue. The wide strap is removable while the top handle is enveloped in a soft leather scrunchie, further elevating the look of the bag.
Hermès Della Cavalleria Mini Bag
Hye-Jin sports a lot of colourful bags on Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha so whenever a classic tan accessory like this pops up, we pay extra attention. This charming Hermès mini bag is made with Epsom calfskin leather and boasts palladium plated hardware on the exterior.
