In a word, the Celine Summer ’26 collection liberates.
Michael Rider’s Celine is unbothered by the need to be revolutionary. Not to say that the result is unremarkable—far from it. Its main priority instead is freedom, proposing clothes that allow you to be who you are, with ease of movement while looking chic with little effort. This Celine Summer ’26 collection is comfortable in its own skin, which is rather refreshing given fashion’s usual appetite for reinvention.
Precise tailoring and soft silhouettes let you live the clothes how you feel best, taking you through every moment, every occasion with a styling that is true to who you are.

Harper’s BAZAAR April ’26, featuring model Suganya in clothes & acccessories from Celine Summer ’26
The pieces from Celine Summer ’26 speak to a certain pragmatic chic. Cue crisp button-downs layered beneath oversized tailoring and multi-layered buckle belts for sharp looks with an edge, mixed in with billowy scarf pieces in clashing hues and ultra-mini ’60s frocks for a touch of cheekiness.

Cape; and jumpsuit, Celine.

Mini dress; and silk twill Lavallière (just seen), both from CELINE. Suganya also wears Le Rougeceline satin lipstick in Shade 14 Rose Orphee, from CELINE BEAUTÉ.

Sweater; hair clip; earrings; and rings, all Celine. Suganya also wears Le Rougeceline satin lipstick in Shade 14 Rose Orphee, from Celine Beauté.
Exceptional tailoring
Fundamentally, nothing feels forced, even when tailoring takes an unexpected turn. In fact, the tailoring is particularly exceptional—exacting but never severe, often styled with jewellery-adjacent buttons or casually turned-up cuffs. Wide trousers pool at the ankles; fitted peplum silhouettes balance volume with precision.

Trench coat; and cropped trousers, all from Celine.

Colonne jacket; polo shirt; trousers; hair clip; sunglasses; signature belt; chunky bracelet; ring, ballet lace-up shoe, and Small Triomphe Frame bag, all from Celine.

Coat; silk twill shorts; chain necklace, all Celine.
It’s in the styling
Where Rider truly excels is in his use of accessorising as storytelling. Those silk scarves—knotted, draped, looped, or shaped into trousers, used as jacket lining—carry the collection’s narrative about heritage without becoming heavy-handed. On the other hand, shoes keep things grounded: ballet flats and strappy sandals for the minis, slingbacks for the draped evening pieces. Even the bags communicate restraint, their minimal branding a knowing nod to Parisian understatement.

Jacket; striped polo; trousers; signature belt; hair clip; sunglasses; chunky bracelet; ring and Small Triomphe Frame bag, all from Celine.

High neck top; shirt; twisted mini skirt; with Little Halfmoon Soft Triomphe bag, all from Celine. Suganya also wears Le Rougeceline satin lipstick in Shade 13 La Peau Nue, from Celine Beauté.

Cashmere sweater; trousers; earrings; hair clip; boots; and Medium Luggage bag, all from Celine.
With this collection, Rider astutely understands that there’s a place where all of Celine’s previous clients might find their way back, that the past holds keys to the future. Smart move.

Turtleneck top; shirt; and twisted mini skirt, all Celine.
