Coach Debuts New Wardrobe Classics for Fall 2022

The show was broadcasted live from New York City.

For Fall 2022, Stuart Vevers presented a show that celebrated the brand's rich heritage, imbued with "feelings of home and nostalgia". The show was staged on New York's Lower East Side within an "imagined American neighbourhood" complete with remixed soundtracks from the '70s and the '90s. At the presentation, Vevers' renewed vision and interpretation of American heritage was tailor-made for the youths of the next generation.

“My collections often begin with a feeling, and for Fall, the feeling was love,” said Vevers in press notes. “To express this, the collection explores tensions between romance and toughness to reinvestigate Coach heritage. I liked the idea of creating a nostalgic world somewhere in America seen through a widescreen lens, mixing the energy of today with the nostalgia for pop culture that has always inspired me.”

The show opened with a stream of comfy-looking oversized shearling coats and cute babydoll dresses in soft prints, lace and twee-like crochet knitted variations. What followed next were bold leather ready-to-wear pieces that provided a tougher alternative for the everyday. To note, expressive artworks by graffiti artists Mint&Serf worked their way into the collection seamlessly. The prints were also featured on Coach's star bag of the season dubbed the Bandit Shoulder bag.
