Continuing in his star-studded fall 2015 campaign cast, Marc Jacobs has revealed the latest face joining the campaign, his long-time friend Sofia Coppola. The screenwriter and director’s ad debuted on the designer’s Instagram and joins alongside a lineup of Cher, Willow Smith, Winona Ryder, Daisy Lowe and Anthony Kiedis.

Update, 6/28: Two new stars have been added to Marc Jacobs’ fall campaign: one throwback, one newcomer. The designer released the latest images featuring our favorite waif-gone-wrong, Winona Ryder, along with Daisy Lowe’s little sister who is all of nine years old (!) and channeling her inner Wednesday Addams to moody perfection.

Update, 6/12: Marc Jacobs promised a cast of A-listers for his fall campaign, and he continues to deliver. The latest image released from the spread features Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman Anthony Kiedis posing with his seven-year-old son, Everly Bear.

Update, 6/4: Willow Smith is the latest celeb to get the Marc Jacobs treatment, with a photo of the actress and singer shared to the designer’s Instagram this afternoon. With the same aesthetic as Cher’s ad, Smith perches on a ladder, clad in a capacious black skirt and sequined blouse-and-jacket combo. In a lengthy caption, Jacobs extols the house’s former faces and hints at more images from this campaign—featuring “friends, each of whom evoke a sense of intrigue and inspiration and collectively provoke a true consideration for individuality”—to follow in the coming weeks. Watch this space…

Original Post, 5/27: Following Marc Jacobs and Cher’s scene-stealing appearance on the Met Gala red carpet earlier this month, it should come as no surprise that Jacobs had more in mind for the iconic crooner than just arm candy. According to an Instagram shared by stylist Katie Grand this morning, Cher is the face of the designer’s Fall 2015 collection. The image, taken from today’s issue of Women’s Wear Daily, shows the singer seated in a wrought-iron chair against a striking red backdrop, clad in a voluminous black dress and matching jacket. It’s a look fit for a queen—one we hope to see more of when the rest of the campaign drops.
