Sølve Sundsbø Shoots Emporio Armani’s Autumn/Winter ’18 Campaign

Voted best newcomer at the 1999 International Festival of Fashion in Hyeres, Sølve Sundsbø infuses his imagery with sharp, otherworldly concepts and experimental techniques. (Think x-rays, 3-D printing, as well as pyrotechnic and smoke effects.) For Emporio Armani’s Autumn/Winter ’18 campaign, however, Sundsbø tapped into that sense of belonging ingrained in the house’s DNA and turned it into sparkling joie de vivre.

Dynamic and fun, the images of Aira Ferreira, Dylan Xue, Greta Ferro, Michelle Gutknecht, Sija Titko, Tatum Marchetti, Ysaunny Brito, Aleksandar Rusic, Leroy, Mark Vanderloo, Pepe Barroso, and Tae Eun are filled with immense enthusiasm. Set within a restaurant, the city outside remains a palpable presence even though it can’t be seen. Full of smiles, dancing, and laughter, the message is clear: enjoy life in the company of others.
