Expo 2020 Dubai in collaboration with Cartier is taking a stand for gender equality and women empowerment. The ‘New Perspective’ exhibition will showcase women’s contribution to society. Cartier together with Expo Dubai 2020 is celebrating women change-makers around the globe.
The first World Expo held in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia Region from the1st October 2021 to 31st March 2022 is dedicating a pavilion to highlighting women. Expo 2020 and Cartier come together to remind the world that full and equal participation of women in all fields is essential to building a more equal world.
The exhibition titled ‘New Perspectives’ invites visitors to recognise the central role women have played throughout history, to the present. With the message “When women thrive, all of humanity thrives.’ The exhibition will highlight the contributions women have made in advancing society, the challenges women continue to face and help work towards a more sustainable future.
The Women’s Pavilion features five structures with different narratives located on the ground floor. For six months the Women’s Pavilion will host an array of events and programs that will enhance the understanding of gender equality and women empowerment. “ We remain committed to sharing our vision of a future where all women are empowered to reach their full potential and of a more inclusive society for generations to come, with women and men across the globe,” says Cyrille Vigneron President & CEO of Cartier International.
